Vaccination related injuries

What is a vaccine Injury Claim?

If you suffer an injury as a result of a vaccination, you may be able to claim for the harm you have experienced.

Whilst anyone can submit an application to be considered for a vaccine damage payment, at Davies and Partners we will also guide and support you through the entire process and prepare a bundle of documents in support, often including witness statements and research to be submitted with the application form. We can also deal with appeals and tribunals on your behalf in the event you have made an independent application that has been rejected.

We make vaccine damage payment applications on behalf of a number of clients. In response to one successful application the client said “Thank you for all the hard work you have put into it. You have been absolutely terrific.”

Vaccination injuries can be caused by:

  • a defective vaccine
  • incorrect administration of the vaccination. For example, shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) injuries
  • vaccine side effects causing serious injury

We will be able to advise you on the most appropriate route for compensation depending on what injury has been caused by the vaccine. One of the most common ways that people claim compensation for injuries caused by a vaccination is through the Vaccine Damage Payment scheme.

Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme

Why a solicitor to help with your claim?

We have vast experience in making applications and appealing decisions on behalf of clients who are seeking a payment through the Vaccine Damage Payment scheme, where the individual needs to be able to establish that receiving the vaccine caused them to suffer severe disablement.

What is a Vaccine Damage Payment?

A Vaccine Damage Payment is a one-off tax-free payment of £120,000 which is paid if you are left severely disabled (at least 60% disabled) as a result of vaccination against certain diseases. This could be a mental or physical disablement and will be based on medical evidence from the doctors or hospitals involved in your treatment.
